Streaming video faces several technical challenges like stalls, frame drops, ghost sessions, and play delay etc. which affects the customer’s quality of experience (QoE). ISPs continuously monitor number of such parameters collected from the networks and client-side video player. However, there is no clear definition of QoE since it is also person dependent. Radix innovatively combined these large number of player and network characteristics collected at varying frequencies to provide a subnet-level QoE score. This is used by the ISP to initiate necessary investigations and corrective actions.
